Nanoedge GmbH develops innovative materials and thin films, both independently and on behalf of industrial companies. The focus of the innovation is the functionalization of flexible and temperature-sensitive surfaces to enable novel product developments and small-scale production.

Nanoedge has already achieved great success in the application-based development of innovative surfaces with the help of its specially developed nanocoating technology.

The focus on aerospace, defense, telecommunications, medical technology, energy and environmental technology laid the foundation for the technology adaptation in 2019. Supported by national and international funding, we immediately entered the development environment of high-performance fiber composites.

We see ourselves as drivers of the future here and are already working successfully with various project and cooperation partners. This helps us to identify future technological trends at an early stage and to participate actively in their development from the very beginning. Nanoedge pursues a strategy focused on direct exploitation, which is ensured through appropriate contractual and protective safeguards.

In addition, initial customer-specific material and product developments have already been successfully completed as part of our R&D services. The deposition of extremely thin nanolayers on complex geometries remains a key component of our core business. The high quality of the coatings we achieve-particularly in terms of homogeneity, layer thickness, and adhesion-provides our customers with a solid foundation for creating future-oriented and customized products.
